Internet explorer is the default web browser which comes with Windows operating system. But there are other web browsers which are more popular than internet explorer such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You may want to uninstall or turn off internet explorer.
Below is the method for turning off internet explorer.
- Click on “Start” button.
- Type “Turn Windows features on or off”.
- You can see the option at the top of the search result, click on it.
- Now you need to wait for few seconds to get the window which you can use to turn on or off any feature.
You can see a dialog box which tells you that removing internet explorer will disable the features related to internet explorer. If you want to turn of internet explorer, click on “Yes” button and then on “OK“.
Now the computer needs to restart to changes to take effect.
