Do you want to restrict other person from installing or uninstalling software from your computer ? Are you afraid that some other users will change the security settings of your computer? Then there is an easy solution for that.

At first create another user in your computer or else if you have already users in your computer then also you can change the settings so that the other users won’t be able to change the computer security settings or install software.


How to create a User ?

Click on “Start” and then on “Control panel

Now click on “User accounts

createuser2Now click on “Create a new account

createuser3Now type a new user name and select the user type as “Standard User“. This will prevent the user from changing the Global settings which affect the whole computer like creating users, installing or uninstalling software etc.

If you have already users in your computer then after clicking on “Manage another account” select and click on the user for whom you want to restrict the ability to change the Global settings of the computer.

createuser5Change the user from “Administrator” to “Standard user” and click on “Change Account Type” button.

Now this will prevent other users from installing or uninstalling software from your computer and also restrict from making changes to many other security settings.
