Have you ever got this error and frustrated while installing WAMP server on your local machine. When you tried to install WAMP server in your local machine then may be you have seen the following message again and again MSVCR100.dll missing.
What’s the reason behind that? You may have noticed that when you are trying to install WAMP server in your local machine then it informs you to install Visual C++ on your machine. So, if you don’t have this installed in your computer then WAMP server shows error while installing on the machine.
How can you check whether you have installed it in your machine or not?
- Go to Control Panel.
- If your view is in “Category“. Click “unistall a program” and you can see whether you have Visual C++ installed or not.
- If your view is in “Small icon” or “Large icon” . Click on “Program and Features.”
If you don’t see it you need to install it because it is not there you are getting the above error.
